Dixie High School – St. George, UT

Park City fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 4-0 loss to Dixie on Saturday. The Fylers took the lead on a double in the first inning.

Dixie fired up the offense in the first inning, when Woodland doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

A single by junior Ben Agnew in the fourth inning was a positive for the Miners.

Fisher pitched Dixie to victory. He lasted six innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out nine. Yates threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Senior RHP Wyatt Hudgens took the loss for the Miners. He surrendered four runs on six hits over five and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one.

Agnew went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the team in hits.

Fisher led Dixie with two hits in three at bats. The Flyers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Lundin had the most chances in the field with 13.
