The Miners two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as Park City defeated Ben Lomond 13-0 on Tuesday. Sophomore Ryan Jeffrey induced a double-play from Ryder to get the last out of the game.
Park City (7-4) secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the first inning. The Miners big bats were led by Max Mobley, Ben Agnew, Colton Thompson, Jeffrey, and Zack Blaszak, all driving in runs in the frame. The team had nine hits in the game. Thompson, Jeffrey, and Agnew each had multiple hits for Park City.
Senior Gabe Lundbeck (1-0) took the win for the Miners. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out five and walking one. Jeffrey threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Camden took the loss for Ben Lomond. He surrendered 12 runs on nine hits over three innings.
