Game Recap

Region 10 Softball – Tooele High School, Tooele UT

Park City fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 16-1 loss to Tooele on Tuesday. The Buffalos took the lead on a grand slam in the first inning after the Miners scored one run when junior Vanessa Heredia singled with two outs in the top half.

Tooele scored nine runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for the Buffs came thanks to a single by Jackson, a single by #12, a double by Lujan, and a passed ball.

Sophomore Amanda Riely, senior Blythe Petty, sophomore Annie Sheinberg, Heredia, and junior Salina Ochoa each collected one hit to lead the Miners at the plate.

Tooele collected six hits and stole five bases during the game.

Park City (2-15, 0-6) will finish region play this week traveling to Stansbury on Wednesday and hosting Union on Friday.
