Park City repeats as Salt Lake Zone KJZZ Cup and defends the 2014 title. The KJZZ Cup is the Preps Utah all-sports award and is divided into 3 regions (North, Salt Lake, and South) and combines UHSAA Classes 3, 4, and 5 in each region for scoring.
Park City competes in the Salt Lake Zone which includes traditional all-sport powerhouses Bingham, Brighton, Alta, Skyline, and Juan Diego. Scoring for the KJZZ Cup includes state finish and region finish in team sports to determine standings.
The Miners scored 186 points to best second place Bingham by 30 points. In 2015, Park City won UHSAA State Championships in Boys Golf, Girls Cross Country, Boys Swimming, and Girls Swimming (as well as Mountain Biking, Girls Lacrosse, and Girls Water Polo – which as club sports aren’t scored for the KJZZ Cup). The Miners finished state runner-up in Girls Tennis and Girls Golf (as well as Boys Lacrosse and Boys Water Polo).
