Park City High School – Park City, UT

A walk-off single led Park City past Desert Hills 1-0 on Saturday. The game was tied at zero with the Miners batting in the bottom of the seventh when senior Zach Luna singled off of Drew Thorpe, driving in one run. Luna went 1-for-3 at the plate as he led the team with one run batted in.

Senior Ryan Brady earned the win for Park City. He threw seven innings, surrendering zero runs, two hits, striking out nine, and walking zero. Drew Thorpe took the loss for Desert Hills. He pitched six and two-thirds innings, allowing one run, four hits, and striking out six.

A single by Rhoton in the fourth inning was a positive for Desert Hills.

Park City will face Pine View at 1:30pm on Thursday, May 18th at Brent Brown Ballpark-UVU.
